The thermal tradition in the Celtic Galicia, especially in the Rías Baixas was revealed during the sixth century when San Martiño Dumio reprimanded the people of Galicia in his “De corretione rusticorumi”, for thinking that fountains could talk. Centuries later, the poems of Rosalía of Castro told us again about those fountains. The island of A Toxa, which belongs to the municipality of O Grove, has always been emblematic within the Salnés district.
