Huesca

Huesca preserves the treasures of more than a thousand years of history in its streets, archaeological remains, buildings from the remote times when man first came to occupy it until today.

The city of Huesca lies at the edge of the gently sloping plains which lead to the River Ebro, and near the foothills of the impressive Pyrenees.
The area where these meet is called "la Hoya" (meaning "the river basin"), and it is here that the essence of Aragón can be found: the inviting plains and the proud and noble mountains.
