At the bottom of the Castile’s Channel, in the north zone of the province of Valladolid, at only 40 kilometers of the capital, we find the historic city of Medina de Rioseco, named “the City of the Admirals".
The village has an amazing historic patrimony. In the XVI century was known as "India chica" (little India), due to the frenetic activity of fairs and markets that took place in its streets. The confluence of the different commercial routes provoked the splendor of this sector. The environment of this village is in no way inferior as the beauty of its urban quarter. We must highlight the Channel of Castile, a hydraulic work converted today in green way from which traveler will discover beautiful spots of the Castilian region of Tierra de Campos.
